If I'm not mistaken, DS is disputing her rights to the team now also.

he's a walking circle jerk....if he ain't delusional , well ...I am betting he is...

The Nba will carry on as usual, but Im sure they can not make all the decisions they want with a pending lawsuit.

It'll go through court quickly is all I'm saying.

A year tops at most. The only point I'm trying to make about DS is the NBA does not acknowledge her as a controlling owner. She has no real seat at the table. Never sat in a meeting, never been asked questions concerning NBA official business, never voted on a thing. Donald is recognized as sole owner of the team. It's Cali law thats creates an illusion of a legal right to the team for Shelly.

That's the real fight everyone wants to see and likely the only real hold up. Donald's legal rights will be dealt with quickly.

sure they can .... it's up to a court to overturn their decision , whatever it may be ... the threat of a lawsuit from Sterling is imo , secondary to the pending player revolt if he stays

that's the dudes history ...when he was evicting KOREANS for sport , there was always a KOREAN or two sitting in his courtside seat every time the press got on him about it....

NEWSFLASH..........Steve Balmer has signed a binding agreement to buy the clippers...according to cnn

Donald Sterling ruled mentally unfit

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling does not have the authority to stop a $2 billion sale of his team because he has been determined to be mentally unfit to make decisions related to the family trust, a person familiar with the situation told USA TODAY Sports.

The Sterling Family Trust owns the team, with Donald and his wife Shelly each owning a 50% share. The trust spells out provisions and procedures related to the mental capacity of the trustees, and Donald Sterling did not meet the standard in a determination by experts, giving his wife sole decision-making power for the trust, the person said.

Shelly Sterling reached a deal Thursday with former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to sell the Clippers for a record $2 billion. The contract was sent to the NBA for approval a few days before the league's Board of Governors was set to vote on whether to terminate the Sterlings' ownership of the team.
