my expert use of Google ;-) found that all info is on NBA website, click on News.
one article:
http://www.nba.com/2014/news/05/30/nba-cancels-sterling-hearing.ap/index.html
partial quotes:
" Sterling was deemed "mentally incapacitated" according to the trust's conditions because he showed "an inability to conduct business affairs in a reasonable and normal manner.".......................
"There is specific language and there are protocols about what to do, and steps in order to get a sole trustee position and that's what took place in the last couple of days,"
........The medical evaluation was made earlier this month when Donald Sterling made voluntary visits to two prominent neurologists who conducted extensive tests, including brain scans, the individual said. Though Donald Sterling is no longer a co-trustee of The Sterling Family Trust, he still retains his 50 percent ownership and still receives proceeds from the sale, the individual said."

means we really know s&*^t , we just love reading s*&^T and so they print it because we eat it. Bad taste in your mouth?

ok, that was not called for. please continue all. :nilly:

does seem like this thread has run it's course.

I think he's knows. I sure wish I knew everything about this case. IMO, this could not have played out better for DS. HE still sold the team, not the Nba.
Although they made him sell it, the team wouldn't be any more valuable than it is today, in DSs lifetime. Im not sure, but I think the guy who bought the team is someone Shelly brought in, sorry fat Oprah. Lastly, this development regarding his diminishing mental capabilities, somewhat lets him off the hook regarding his comments, right??

Well, balmer tried to buy a team last year (to move it to seattle) but the NBA chose to accept a different bid to keep the team in Sacramento. The team was ALWAYS going to go to the highest bidder that didnt have a negative track record. They had to pay 80% upfront (not financed) so a lot of people were eliminated.

So in other words balmer had already been screened and approved weither the NBA handled it or the sterlings and the price wouldve been the same as it was essentially an auction. The NBA still forced this without having to directly handle the sell. Youre right its a win win for everyone, except donald and RMKBLADE roflmao

I got that crow taco ready

just too easy sometimes... it's like the guy that gets fired telling the boss"you can't do that"... newsflash, it's already been done...kinda the easiest bet win ever:)

indemnify
: to protect (someone) by promising to pay for the cost of possible future damage, loss, or injury
: to give (someone) money or another kind of payment for some damage, loss, or injury

Just incase pops missed it, say the NBA just says take the billion, we don't want to go to court. Shelly pays the billion. Or it goes to court and Donald wins, Shelly pays the billion plus legal fees. It's literally suing yourself lmao
