no they are apart, usually a sp. tank, but i meant they already get in prawns (not esp. for the plecos). the rays they get in are sensitive and are usually only motoro or retic

Yeah, Mine only occasionally has bichirs, but they use FD krill not prawns, and the plecos don't swim to the top to get the krill.

ive had plecos surface feed, but you dont see it to often, and sometimes they just stop doing it after a while.

No. I use market shrimp also, but the krill is easy because it floats.

nope. I use the krill because it floats well, and my aros will eat it much faster. otherwise I have to hand feed, and get bit.
