Should I just give up?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I now understand why you're doing it. Sell the jardini and move the FH where you can't see it. That would be hard to deal with.

Dude.
Put them in a rubbermaid.
Take them to the LFS, and be done with it.
Yeah, he'll be pissed but screw him.

Tell him "If you're going to mis-treat animals in my house, you get them taken away"

It's YOUR HOUSE.
Do what YOU want in YOUR HOUSE.

Thanx all, I'm def. feeling alot better just reading all your posts.

first get your wife's permission, THEN do it LOL

Got general idea; thanx guys, and girls, you all my good buddies. :):D

see, got my smiley face back; but should i do a water change still? Nitrite is
0.5ppm. Is that really bad? I never had fish in tank until nitrite is 0ppm.

dont give up,just either buy it off him,or steal it =)

Yeah, this part of problem I think (thanks to all of you I know what to do) in the mean time, should I just do a water change until I need to to what I need to do? Nitrite at 0.5, but aro is eating.

what you should do is sell the jardini to me, keep the money and tell him the fish died. Then sell the flowerhorn keep the money and tell him that died too.

But no matter what don't give up caring for that innocent fish.

If you want it, I'll give it to you, but you might have to pay for the shipping charges since I'm in CA, and your in HI. Flowerhorn I'm not too concerned with, they're a lot tougher, and certainly don't grow to the lengh an aro will.
Probably will have the FH in a 30 soon i hope anyway.
