sell the fish and use thin knife too remove the sealant in some places of the tank
and you can tell him that his tanks got a leak and you had no other option rathre than to sell the fish
and he won't be able to house any more monster fish in those puny tanks

:ROFL:First you all telling me to steal, now it's moving to sabotage.

You guys are going to corrupt me so bad:D:D but, that tank was mine, given to me by a friend, so I can't do it.

But really, thanks to all of you who were kind enough to help me out.

Well, you can sell it to a number of members on here (:) hint hint:)). And if he keeps buying these fish, keep selling them and make a profit on them? Your house, your rules.

what you should do is sell the jardini to me, keep the money and tell him the fish died. Then sell the flowerhorn keep the money and tell him that died too.

But no matter what don't give up caring for that innocent fish.

If you want it, I'll give it to you, but you might have to pay for the shipping charges since I'm in CA, and your in HI. Flowerhorn I'm not too concerned with, they're a lot tougher, and certainly don't grow to the lengh an aro will.
Probably will have the FH in a 30 soon i hope anyway.
haha sounds good check on the shipping, ill send you money paypal! lmk

Man I'm sorry for the late post; really bad people infected my computer with some major viruses and spyware. Just got rid of them now, and just got my computer online.

Update: On Saturday, May 03, I couldn't stand it no more, got him in a bucket like most of you suggested, and took him to Lucky Aquarium two miles from the house, and traded him in for a power-head/pump actually needed it for my tank upgrade, so I'm :D:D. Even the store owner was shaking his head asking what the jar was doing in a 20. Was so glad to see the jar being put in a nice 55 with massive water circulation. The change was almost immediate, and he started to swim back and forth, and NOT LAY ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. Wish I took a pic on my cell phone cam.

However, I did take some pics of him and his crappy tank just for posterity.

anyone know how to post those pics from my cell phone on to here? Did some searches regarding posting pics, but couldn't find the answers.

To Slowpoke, again, my apologies. He def. was a nice specimen, was eating alot, grew to be about five inches.

really? steal it and sell it?

Guess what... he will just go out and buy another fish to sentence to death then.

Just let the fish die IMO and hope dude just gives up on the hobby.

Didn't want to reply then because it would have just made me more mad;

Everyone, that aro ISN'T THE FIRST the first one probably couldn't stand the cruddy tank enviroment and promptly jumped out on the third day and died.

Instead of taking the hint, and leave it alone, he got up and went off and got the second aro.

FIRST YOU DON'T SUCEED, FAIL, FAIL AGAIN.

AGAIN, THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED ME OUT. Your kind words meant a lot. I just hope the aro don't wind up in some other numbnuts' home, but with some person who actually know how to care for him.

He def. deserves better.

But, at least it was kind of a good experience just to take care of a real aro for a while. Was so cool to watch him eat, and just do his thing at least when I did a WC, and the water was a bit cleaner. Def. fell in love with him.

Mark my words, some day, in a 300g, will be my own.
