Should i pack fishkeeping in?

I haven't been here long, and you've helped me alot, Bogwoodbruce. Through reading your posts, I've learned alot of things since the time I've spent on this forums. If you do let go on the hobby, I would highly suggest keeping one nice show tank, as others have. I jump around on hobbys alot, and I suspect that if I ever sort of dulled down my enthusiasm for fish, I would always have a nice tank, because aside from a hobby, a fishtank is still a very nice decorative peice in a house. I would keep the Rio and put the rest into somesort of storage, be it the garage, basement, or something else. I'd be willing to bet somewhere down the road, you will want to get back into the hobby, even only for a little bit. Whatever you decide, goodluck and thanks for all your help. It's much appreciated. :)

Bruce i think you are an awesome fish keeper and you have learned so much and taught us all some of your knowledge ...if you really feel in your heart your bored and what to pursue other interests then that should be your goal.. but if your just having one of those days ..please do not do anything that you really may regret later.. just sit down and really think about it..

I'm 15 and have been keeping fish again for the last 2 yrs, and have 4 large tanks:
  • 6x2x2
  • 4x2x2
  • Rio 300
  • 48x30x24
And am thinking about cutting down on tanks or packing it in, as i haven't really been doing much else, as i've got autisum these are my main hobby. I'm thinking about getting rid of all exept the Rio which is in the living room, just for Dats, or the Rio and the 6x2x2 Help me decide.

I went through this stage too just a while back. I cut all my tanks back to 1 tank...Then about a week later I saw something I really liked and setup another tank...then another...then another. Its cool to cut back(most likely it won't stay that way for long though) but don't get out. I was actually planning on getting out all together too. And I am 16 so I can relate. But I am telling you. Go ahead and cut back and leave it for a while but I garuntee that you will see something and set your tanks right back up. Maybe you should just sell your fish and start with something fresh and different.
