seachem makes a good test kit....


i believe that amquel+ can also remove most of the oxygen from the water

john,do you know the difference in the 2 test kits??nessler or the other

when u do water change.. keep the "old" water and use it to rise your pad and stuff.. that will ensure you dont killed all your bio load...

the bb is in the scrubbies not the mech filtration
so why does that matter?

the nessler sees all the ammonia even that that is held harmless by the prime until your bio filter eats it

the other kit sees only the ammonia that is toxic to the fish

ok so my box doesnt say anything
but i just read the instructions and ity says it is a salicylate based tester
online is says nessler,in the instructions it says salicylate lol
im going with the book

im sure you will say get the other kind but this does say salicyblabla

so back on track
why does cleaning my mech filter stuff kill ALL my bb? lol
