I had 3 feeder goldfish that lived for 8 years, the smallest was 9" and the biggest was 11.25". They were the fish you win at fairs and what not. prolly would still be alive, though they would be about 14 years old. Never took any pics of them cause I didn't have a camera at that time.

Nice goldfish everyone, keep em coming and this may just have to become a sticky. I'll post mine later, when I'm not feeling so lazy.

It depends.

Ranchubreeder differ between top-view and side-view for example.

It´s more a matter of fact that really big grown fishes should be kept in ponds, because a small tank is not really supporting fishhealth at last.

But in my opinnion a fish in a tank is more interesting...

..if fishes look like crap it´s probably caused by "poor" keeping because there is no better way to keep a fish than supporting with sunlight and fresh natural food that you will find in an outdoor pond but the fishes there are less interactive and observable.

So for fancy Goldfishes it is usually best to keep them outdoor in the warm summer and take them indoor for the cold wintertime here.

:)
