My stupid expandable hose I got from amazon busted yest doing a water change. Going to menards for clear tubing and female hose to barb connector lol2 garden hoses to drain into toilet or shower stall, garden hose attached to an adapter at the sink (the one that came with the python) to refill
I like some of the methods other members thought up, will definitely copy some of those ideas...
They make a beefier version now for about $10 more than the original. Looks like tougher materials for the hose/sheath and the connectors are all brass. My stupid expandable hose I got from amazon busted yest doing a water change. Never again worst experience my wife flipped out on me. Internal tube popped and yeah I guess a clear tubing like a python will work best for me now. It's cheap and won't break under pressure, worst case fittings will leak but yeahThey make a beefier version now for about $10 more than the original. I'm still using 3 of the originals for about 2 years now. The key is to keep the water pressure low since its built so flimsy, but I do like them since they get the job done, easy to work with, and are super compact when not in use.
