Show Me Your Waterchange Hardwares

I was using three hoses all attached to different water changing devises, one to a pump for large water changes, one to a python that I would feed outside for substrate cleaning and one to the python sink attachment with a hose for refill. When I was done it all (including an extension cord) went in one large plastic storage bin to then be untangled the next time around.......TILL.....I added a quick disconnect with an on-off valve. Now I have one hose that I connect to each item as I need it......SOOOOO much easier and less of a headache.

Here's a pic of the set up I use to do a water change on our tanks, when it's not "substrate cleaning day." The pump is a Lifegard Aquatics Quiet One Pro Series 5000 connected to a drinking water safe garden hose. The hose is 50 feet long and is clamped onto the side of the utility sink in the unfinished part of our basement. I use Aqueon's "python" style system to refill the tanks.

I use almost this exact same set up. Quiet One 6000 to drain the tanks. Aqueon "water changer" to fill the tanks.

Still under construction. I will have each drum attached too a 75 gallon in the living room above.
Minimal substrate with enough current to hopefully keep most of the waste suspended. So it will settle in the drum.
The drums will be isolated from the upstairs aquariums, and drained for irrigation.

If I have too I will be able to vacume the tanks, and dump my waste water into the empty drums.

I use a large plastic storage tote, a Harbor Freight Tools submersible pump and a garden hose that I route out to the yard. I just gravel vac into the tote. Everything stores nicely into the tote when I'm done. For refill, I've got a hose fitting on the utility room sink faucet.
