I’ve never had to order fish online so I’ve never payed for shipping. I could understand $25-50, but $90 for shipping and $10 for packing is out of my budget.
Unfortunately i live in an LFS wasteland

Just wanted to share some info I found on these orange cheeks:
A seller that can get them and ship them told me they get them seasonally late February-March but sometimes one or two will pop up through the year. They told me they never get any less than 8-9” but they’re usually 10-12” or larger.
So come February, the hunt is on!!

I thought i saw a comment by justarn justarn regarding this. Something along the lines of conservation efforts. Not exporting them from that region until they reach a certain size

I found a 12 inch one on eBay. Seller wants $350+55 for shipping. I know they can be cheaper elsewhere but it’s available now in case anyone is willing to fork out that cash to scoop it up.

Live aquaria has a 12" for $300, Rapps as 9" for $225, and Below water had/has 6" in November for $90.
