Love the Bluegill Raredog, sorry man we don't have Warmouths in Southwestern Mo (I wish we did) just Southeastern, the only goggle eye we have around here are rockbass and Ozark bass.

Rairdog, you don't have any pumpkinseeds in your picture. The first picture is a hybrid green sunfish, the second, third and fourth pictures are longear sunfish. The last picture is just a pure bluegill.

It's possible. These came out of a small isolated pond but GS can pretty much walk on land and get into any BOW.

Wow, you know I believe Missouri Longears are the prettiest Ive ever seen, but once again your Indiana Green sunfish are just astounding, and put ours to shame!

Neighbor brought me a fish from the river. It was mixed in with some rock bass and LE's. I thought it was a rock bass at first. They had them in a basket which shreds tails. It almost looks like a WM which would be the first I've seen around here. It looks dark brown and yellowish from above when in tank.

Its hard to tell from the picture but I think its a rockbass, because of regional differences sometimes in populations of species its tough to tell when theyre stressed or young.

I took it out of AP setup and put it in LE tank. It is still very stressed and I can't get a good pic. The head has brown and dark yellowish horizontal barring, the torso is not shaped like a RB and eyes are not red. This is the best shot I could get. Flash added some red but not like our RB around here.

Its a warmouth, based on the # of anal ray spines it has (3) and it also has tiger markings on the gill cover.
