NP, just wanted to give people some examples of real golden trout. It annoys me (no offense to that guy) when people are like "look at this ____" or "I caught this ____" when it in fact is not that species.

i only said that it was a "golden trout" because that's what the local fisherman called it, so that's why I said it was, I didn't know that, my mistake

It's all good man. Now you know the difference . And you can tell all the local fishermen, well, maybe the less ornery ones...

bump....im stocking up on pics. Caught to wild bows just under 2#'s yesterday

i should have had a camera with on my last trip steelheading...i caught 8 all but one over 25"...my friend caught 6 around the same size...the bad thing is i fell on a rock from 3' up and landed on my knee cap...it still herts to bend it, and the swelling just went down and that was over a week ago...

Here in the first pic Is a rainbow i got down in bc a Yellow lake. then some we caught out at swan lake alberta
