Show Us Your Ride!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well, it's not as pretty as all that, but my fun car is:

1983 Olds Delta 88
1967 Olds 425c.i.
custom Ultradyne camshaft
9.5:1 compression using flat top pistons
ported and polished heads
edelbrock performer intake

stock TH200-4R transmission rebuilt and strengthened
8.5" rearend with 3.08 gears

Impala suspension and police swaybars

All the work was done by yours truly. It ticks off high 13's in the 1/4 and really makes mustang owners mad at the road track meets...

There is nothikng I hate more than a SBC stuck in anything but a chevy. Drives me nuts. At a car show, I walk up to this beautiful 83 H/O (one of 600 or so). Look under the hood, and what do I see? 383 stroker. yeah, it's probably fast, but so is a built 403 or 455...

GraFFix- FWD?! lookin at that car and it being a pontiac i would of thought RWD for sure.

Whats your PB over the 1/4 mile?

GM hasn't made a RWD passenger car since 1996, excluding the F bodies and Corvette. IMO, GM died in 1996 when they got rid of the last fullsize performance car, the Impala SS, though many argue that it died in 88 with the last of the G bodies. Anyone remember the 87 GNX that could seat 5 and beat a Corvette in the 1/4? yeah, me too.

I don't have a car/bike at the moment hard times are apone me... lol i'll be getting a car soon but in the mean time i just love the American Chopper show on the discovery channel you know OCC i really liked the I ROBOT bike they made i'd love to own it !

If you didn't see it here it is.

Not entirely true, RWD has been coming back at GM! Although many of these examples rely on platforms from GM's Australian (Holden) and German (Opel) divisions, they are RWD:

Pontiac GTO (Holden Monaro)
Cadillac Catera (Opel Omega -- sigma platform)
Cadillac CTS (same -- sigma)
Cadillac STS (only the most recent version -- sigma platform)
Pontiac Solstice

Here's my rides

05 F150 & 02 Honda f4i 600

By the way the I'm selling my bike, so if anyone wants to buy a great bike, always garaged and adult owned (never stunted) send me a pm for more details. Sorry couldn't resist a plug ;)
