I divided my tank recently to give my female la ceiba a break, and lately she hasn't been looking well. She just sat in front of the divider watching the male. She can't seem to swim properly all of the sudden. She swims for a bit and then crashes back I to the sand. What's wrong with my fish :( I took a short video of what she is doing. Forgive the cloudy water I just did a large water change to see if that would help.

I gave her an Epsom salt bath. I'll try another one tonight :/

If you suspect this may be a bladder issue a bath in Meth blue should help. 1 teaspoon in a five gallon buck of tank water for 30 mins.

I'll try that tomorrow, Im not sure what's wrong with her. From what I've read it could be a bladder issue, egg compaction, or fungal/bacterial. I tried to give her peas, but she won't touch them. She ate some gel food I made up that had some different ingredients in it. Perhaps ill mash up the peas and make up some more gel to feed her to try and get her to poop. Wish I could narrow down what's wrong with her so I can properly treat her.

I've read that massaging a fishes abdomen can help them if they are bound. Is there any specific way this needs to be done?

She's eating some gel food I made up, but she still isn't better yet. I bumped the tank temp up to 82-83. I'm not sure what's wrong with her. She has a sore where she has been laying in the sand. Idk what to do :(

She really didn't move much today so there wasn't a point in Taking another video. Some one in another site state that the sore from her resting on the bottom may be a sign of TB? All of the pics inline I've seen of fish having TB the fish have multiple sores, and my fish has just the one where her body has been resting. I really have no idea what to do for her :/

Does anyone know what A fish with TB would look like? I've googled this, and the symptoms sound like several things. She has a sore in her belly just under her gills, but nowhere else. She sometimes has the S shaped spine, but has no other symptoms as I read online.
