sick midas cichlid

my midas seems to be getting ick not sure though??? and also seems to be dispaying a nuchual hump already..... i threw in a few pics of the xiloaensis to..

RAise the temperature to 85 degrees and add 1T of rock salt per 5 gallons. You got ick.

If it's ich, raise the temperature of the tank to about 84 degrees, I was always told to add 1 tablespoon of salt per 10 gallons by LFS. I had success using this method to cure my EBJD of ich when I first got him.

ok thanks i had never had to deal with ick so will this affect the other fish in the tank??? is ick able to spread to my other fish??

i just got these fish to the red isltea seems to barely start to get it will this affect my other fish and can ick spread??

Leave the temp around 84-85 for 2 weeks. Ich can't live in temps that high, BUT it can remind dormant if it falls off the fish in the substrate. This will ensure it dies. A lot of times fish get it when they're stressed. I imagine it'd be pretty stressful on a young fish to be shipped somewhere.

Do you have other tanks?
