Maybe she is trying to show an interest but doesn't know how to go about it.

I too kinda took over the house with fish tanks. I am lucky, my wife gets a kick out of my fish. She doesn't know much about any of the fish I keep & sometimes ask some off the wall questions. But that is ok. I find it nice she is at least interested in what I do.

Just be patient

questions are fine. being curious is fine. but saying "hey hun this fish is gonna die" "its dying" or " I can't find you (fill in the blank) i think he died/got eaten". you know how upset she gets when i say joking that the cats are gonna die?

haha don't make it like that. i love my wife. I just wish she either paid no attention at all or started to want to know about the tanks.

It kinda works out though. Who would be there to convince you not to get an arapaima gigas and a 10,000g pond if you both enjoyed the hobby?
