In the long run, pleccos.

I have had a biggish one with bigger asian aro's, and the tank was initialy the asian one's. Jar never did a thing.

But i have had them kill like sized cichlas, for instance. If the have the instinct, it is rather complicated

just avoid jardini if you want an easy ride keeping other fish..

I would recomend the jardini for its looks and personality. If you dont mind a solo fish that is. Ive had several silvers and currently have a jardini thats about 16" and i have to say he has been my favorite by far. Begs for food and bites at the glass like my cichlids.

I mean ill have to put it in my 75 gal for now so I think I'll go with the jar cuz a 12" silver won't last 3 months in there ... Ill try other fish tho

Worked for me. But make sure you have a spare tank just in case.
