Silver and jardini?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looking at your future combo idea as I text this, I had a lei with them too but it beat the crap out of the jardini so I moved it, weird though the lei never had a problem with the black just the jar

In the end it all depends on the individual jar, I have had 5 and this is the only mellow one I've had, one fish that I have had all of them w without any issues is clown loaches, 3-4 inch with all of my jars n aside from occasional nipping no issues, my jars were 12-14 inches n 6-10 inches

Could a 12" silver aro and a 6-7" jardini live in the same tank? It's only in a 4' 120 for like 2-3 months then moving into a bigger place so I can get a 240+

My 11-12" Jar is in a 125 gallon long and has shown no aggression towards his tankmates. Maybe because I got lucky but I also don't feed him live foods except mealworms and crickets.

tankmates:

10" banded Lepo
6" Tifoil barbs 2x
4" firemouth 2x
7" featherfin cat
6" rainbow shark
5" bala shark 3x
2" red tip shark
3" Irwini cat
4" jewel cichlid
2" unknown cichlid
1" cory cat 2x
5" chinese algae eaters 3x

Everything was introduced after the jar except for the rainbow, unknown, featherfin, and chinese algae eaters.
