Thanks for the comments still...How are they underfeed? Do you not see their bulging stomach....I feed them everyday with 4 shrimp or more. I understand your points but being underfeed just irks me.

Thanks everyone and I did move them into the 180 gallon. I have been keeping arowanas for more than 6 years now and only deaths that occur are through suicidal attempts....

Not to bring any arguments here but in the Asian style tanks with more than 10 arowanas in it, does that not stress the fish out with that little space they have? I know their filtration is superb but I can't imagine their Nitrates being 10PPM or under all the time.

You gotta keep up, the silvers are in the 180g now.


The thing with most of your "asian style" crowded tanks are that the fish are mature.

I know but doesn't that still put stress on the fish? I mean my silvers in the 55 gallon doesn't look crowded vs the super crowded with almost no room to swim tanks.
