Silver Arowana growth rate

What is the growth rate for the silver arowana?? My silver arowana is currently 2.5'' inches and he looks like he is getting bigger. I feed him 3 times a day and do water changes everyother day. EX: I did a water change Friday night and will do one on Sunday(tommrow).

ya... at the rate ur feeding him.. he'll be 6-7" in 4 months..

they grow from 1-2 inches per month when they are babies..

Growth rate sorta slow down a little when at 12"+ but in a year.. they can become 16" long...

Growth rate does not slow at 12" they will grow 1 to 1.5" per month up to the 24" range. Once this size the average is 1 to 2" per year

alright thanks guys. Yeah Bderick67 I kind of figured that because I have read that so many times on here. And it was getting me confused on how their growth slows at 12''.

Mine grew from about 6 inches to around 24 inches in about a year. Seem to be getting taller and thicker now more than longer.
