Silver Arowana growth rate

^ Yes I was wondering about this, when they start to grow in height/thickness. I got my silver around 8" or so a little over 3 weeks ago, he's 10" now (eating f/d krill and hikari carnivore). He gets food a couple times a day and weekly 50% wc.

I bought mine when he was about 8" 8 months ago, and now he's 16"-17" growing 1"-1.5" a month.

Yeah, I didn't realize how much he have grown up for the past 8 months since he's my 1st silver to live this long and I'm so happy with it

my silver must have grown fast or its just me i bought it 5-7 months ago at 6-7" now its 16"

Beginning of Nov you claimed it to be 8~9" 5 months later you claim it is 16", any pics? So it has grown 7~8" in those 5 months? That is average growth.

My Arowana's growth rate has slowed down or maybe i can't tell.. but he's now around 13" from 5-6" 5 months ago....

My other arowana which i got at 10" not 3 weeks ago is now about 12" SOOOO it depends on the fish... but 1-1.5" sounds about right to me...

They are my both my first arowana tho.. so we'll see...

My jardini on the other hand.. is growing like crazy...
