Silver vs. Black

not trying to knock this off topic, but ive had this retarded question for a while. Does a silver and black have the same body shape but just different colour? I used to think they look exactly the same in body shape but there are guys who tell me they are completely different.

Though very similar, especially under 18". Silver generally have taller bodies and are more massive for the length. The black have smaller tails and the combination of their tails and back fins will give more on an appearance of being solid and come to a point.
