Good, now they can work at some better LFS instead of rotting and wasting their talents at Walmart.
 
Their are a lot of stores who have no confrontation policies. It cheaper to lose the merchandise than defend a law suit. They stick by them no matter what. But in the end these guys did the thing. Somebody will hear of this story and give them jobs.

That is so wrong. The idiot person with gun would probably have taken some one as a hostage or shield to get out of the store if they hadn't stopped him, when and how they did. At least some people have brains and b***s! If more people were as quick and brave as these people, maybe there would be less shoplifting, mugging, etc., in our world.

walmart, food4less, winco, costco, home depot

those are pretty much all the stores i shop at and in that order of frequency

anyways, i think the cop said it all at the end of the article there. the policies are driven by the fear of lawsuits.

Since customer security is not part of their job description, Nothing. Now imagine the lawsuit if in the struggle with the gunman a shot went off and struck poor 4 year old Sally Sue killing her instantly. A since the employees are not trained in disarming arms subjects their is your law suit in the lovely litigious society we live in.
