I LOVE community tanks.
Only 1 problem, not enough compatible tankmates for my fish.
I have a piranha (around 4 inches) a 4 1/2 inch pleco Both in my 75...why? Because the pleco can't go in with the goldfish, and he can't go in the brackish tank, and he really can't go in the 10 gallon. Him and the piranha have come to a truce, each has their own space. BUT, it looks TOO EMPTY!!
Soo, we're putting a divider down the center and getting ANOTHER red belly piranha and Pleco pair. It'll still look too empty in my opinion, someday (when the future piranha gets bigger) I'd like to get some tetras that stay pretty small and put them in for movement.
I would like one of those tanks where it has front and back split sections. that way, you can have 2 kinds of fish in that tank, and because there's glass between the different kinds, you'll be set, but since it's divided lenghtwise, it looks like all of the fish are together!!
