Thanks for the link. They are fairly plain but good for the money and if they stay small then they solve a problem for many people. I guess at 12inch max (if that is correct) then they would still need a decent size tank.

I think I may give them a try when I finally get the fish house done (loft conversion is 50% done)

the ones i had were not that nice i have seen much better

you maybe ok with a pair in a 6x2x2 for life

do a search for scobinaman on here he has them for sale from Germany

they are very easy to take care of and breed easy

Cool, thanks for the info.

I think the fish house tanks are all going to be 8X3 for Rays.

i think 3 wide is a bit small for adult pearl go for 4 wide just to be safe

My Pearl and Motoro that I currenty have will remain in my house, they are currently in6X3 and when / if they ourgrow there is space for 8X4 which is currently being planned although a few years off.

The fish house will be below my office and has more roon so maybe 4 wide would be a good idea. I might go for "ponds" / sumps at the bottom and then a tank above.

A guy i know has had a pair for 6 or so years and they have stopped growing at 15" for the male and 17" for the female.
