Well I did an experiment and started out with one apple snail in with my flower horn. He ignored him for the most part, so I added another apple snail. The snails were actively mating, and the flower horn left them alone. Then I added the other two apple snails, and tadaaaa!..... I have my flower horn with four apple snails happily coexisting with no harm to the snails at all. I’m not gonna try that with my community tanks lol, but I’m happy with this success because I tried large Adonis pleco with the flower horn, and he ripped it’s beautiful tail to shreds. I desperately needed something to break down the bio load to help with the filtration, and I found a solution in the apple snails.
