a nano light is a sort of underwater light with high amounts of red

most of the asian aros you see pics of on the net are using this kind of light to make the aro look beeter than it is

alot of the asian aros people go wow look how swwet that is if you turn the nano lights off they just look like a normal asian aro

i admit their are some very nice asian aros around but not as many as you think

man you just blew the asian myth sky high!!!

Seriously , where can i get such nano lights? make of them? Could be good for silvers, also...:)

I think you're referring to (what they call in Singapore) a nan light, in Taiwan they just call it a pink light.

AFAIK it only makes red aros look more red and won't do much for other aros except make them a little pink. They are just normal tubes and are very cheap. Can be put in the water or above..

IMO that fish is hot...

If put in the right setup...it would light up a room.

I wouldn't dish out 10k for it...i'm not saying that it isn't worth it.

But I think you would get better value for money if you were to purchase a few fish that are on your 'fish to get' list.

I think it also comes down to supply and demand. Because there aren't many of these fish around...the owner has every right to demand whatever price he wants.

Cool fish, whether it's worth 60K is to be debated. I would much rather have a super red than a plain arow, but thats just my opinon.

the nano light is a red/pink tube that sits in the tank under the water line

most of the asian aros you see pics of on the net are using this kind of light

it does work on xbacks and RTG as it makes the base color look darker and the frame of the scale stand out more

if you see an asian aro with realy dark eyes this is a sign of nano light

I don't Know about the nano lights, but you can get the coralife brand colormax lamps. the first pic is with (4) 6500k 65w pc lamps and one 40watt colormax lamp. the second pic is with just the (4) 65w pc lamps.

the type of light most use are a red or pink light that goes under the water normaly at the front of the tank

you would be shocked at the diffrence this kind of light makes

most who use them say they are to enhance the color that already their but if you ask me they make the aro look 10 x better than it realy is at the flick of a light switch

tanning is the same sort of light but left on 24/7 you can change the tube to what ever you want with a small mod

with nano light you can put them under the water for best efects in front of the tank glass i lot of people just turn them on when taking picture to make the fis look better

take a look at this link if you look close at the back of the tank at the top you will see the nano light under the water line

i have never used this kind of light as i feel that a fish should be left natural not made look better than they are with light

oooops sorry enhanced with lights
