Woah, never heard of these-- absolutely BEAUTIFUL rays. I am insanely jealous.
Thank you. These ones actually come from the “Canadian line” as some other members have previously called them on here before. The first documented breeder was from my home town and I managed to track him down and find out where he sold them to.

(non of these are my pictures, but they are from the line of these pics )

Stunners for sure! Whatever happened to C calgaryflames ? I miss his post and messing with him about the flames! Go Sharks
Anyway, loving the updates!
He was just getting out of the hobby right as I was getting into it. I bought some filter media and a uv sterilizer from him. But he didn’t have much else left by the time I got a hold of him. It was sad for me because I think I would have enjoyed talking rays with him and what not.

fortunately he gave me a couple really cool connections, one of which helped me acquire these guys.

Update- the males are becoming more aggressive each day. As soon as food hits the water, they start biting each other and the bino. The small male is now the alpha of the tank. I feel like he is going to be a strong breeder.

The female has been doing well. She eats everything I put in the pond. She was being a jerk to the bino girl so I had to pull her from the tub. But she seems to have made friends with the big pearl girl so far.

Hey my freind, can I ask how your rays do with sand in the tank? Do you reccommend doing this or advise against it? Both breeders I have purchased rays from use bare bottom tanks but i think the sand looks more natural. Just curious as to your thoughts and experience? What sane do you use?
