They are alright. A little pricey.

i checked out Fish Warehouse out after i read this post. came out with a lap bichir and some SA catfish, both for 40 bucks. :headbang2 but i have to bulk up the lap.

heres my list:
DD Fish & Pets
Tongs Tropical Fish
405 Tropical Fish
Ocean Blue
Fish Warehouse

these places cater to MFK taste and as always, you have to know what your looking for.

First time I went to Tongs a few days ago. I really like the place although a little ghetto.
The employees are really friendly and knowledgable. They got some good quality fishes. Prices is also fair.

i know of that place. but they have the typical "asian" stuff i.e. rows of flowerhorns and blood parrots. and the funny thing is that place sells drinking water for people :D

The Tong's in Brea, by the movie theatre off of Imperial Hwy. is garbage. They must send the fish that aren't doing well at their other store there or somth'n, I've been in there over the years and every time the fish are half dead and the entire shop is in disarray.

I didn't know they had another one, I might have to check it out.

I remember there was a place in Fountain Valley that was HUGE and had some real rarities, but I can't remember the name. They had a salt water maroon clown with a jigsaw puzzle pattern, I've never seen one like it and would venture to say that while the anomally isn't one of a kind, the pattern definately is - 3 grand!

They also had a lot of large bubble tip aenome (spelling?) at good rates...just a lot of good stuff there.

Maybe some one who's into marine knows what I'm talking about.
