Well guys that lil piece of **** didnt last long, i tore the cheap vinyl bottom working on it...DOH!
But thank god i had a 1700 gal that was turning green cus its been to cold to swim, drained it + water cond up the woohoo and im filling it up using a hose hooked to my hot water heater. This will be better. Will def last longer anyway much better materials on this one, thick vinyl, bottom drain, built in filter. I shlepped 420 gallons of water with a home depot bucket out of the old into the new. Geez how the hell am i going to heat this thing?!?!? And keep my bill under 200? Will post pics when done. But seriously how am i going to heat this thing?
Potentially if the plant is a really deep rooter with very sharp, and strong, roots. Most aquatic plants don't fit that bill. The only aquatic plant I can think of that would be an issue might be cyprus, mangroves, or a bamboo if you put that in there.
Most plants just don't have strong enough roots. Most of your plants are grown for years in really flimsy pots. some of those pots are weaker then even thin vinyl. Many trees and shrubs are grown in burlap bags and they don't usually work their roots out of that for many many years. I wouldn't worry to much about it. Unless you want to put some trees in there.
All of this is based on what I know from growing plants in pots and in the garden over many years.
Id also like to post that she has been acting strange, kinda just floating at the top with her fin sticking out of the water, just floating, every once in a while she twitches.... I dont know im keeping an eye on Her tho.
