very nice. i love the driftwood pieces. i do the same thing as you in the store. i sit down and start putting different pieces together to see how the fit. its like an art form.

Tank looks good so far. The only thing I can say to to watch out for your filter intake being so close to the sand. You might have issues with sand getting into your filter.

surprisingly my intake has not picked up any sand yet. its silica sand so it is decently heavy enough for it to hold itself down. but i was planning to put a sponge around it soon or maybe a cloth or something.



oh and i also got my fishs recently.

10 neon tetras
5 black neon tetras
5 balloon rams
5 tiger barbs
3 panda cory


i also added some baby dwarf tears so hopefully they grow. since im not planning to run co2. i also changed my substrate a little. i got eco complete mixed with my silica sand. ill post pix soon

yeah its fun! im about to do it again soon since im planning to have a shrimp tank.
