wow ****, how much was he?

he's at that size where if he feeds well he'll most probably double in size in the next couple of months i think, my cousins reached that size then within 2 months they were both monsters easily reaching id say over 1foot and very high from head to mouth,, nice specimin and its wonderful to see he has taken to sitting on the decor with such style. he's going to be very happy pleco indeed, i forsee an easy future with hoover there and if i may say kudos on the name :) might have to steal it and come up with an appropriate counter name for my otherone hehe.

girlfriend made me name my jewel cichlids (large mature breeding pair) after her and i today so ive gone ahead and started naming all of them including little monster for my ghost knife after my cousins fiance dubbed it that because mine is bout 6 weeks old compared to their 6month old monster LOL!

haha me rambling again, youll get to know me for that XD. but yeah more than anything kudos again on the decor and the awsome attempt at simulating a creek bed hes gona be a stoked pleco till he grows and eats it all.

probably the best lookin common ive ever seen

**** apart from wanting to know how much you swipe him up for i must know, is that a pirannah i see in with him lol?

can someone explain why they get along with pirannahs so well? ive actually seen them fending off prianahs lol a big one totally giving it to one that tried to take his food on youtube, i would have thought till that day that pirahna would have made short work of him lol.

They don't... they all bite the dust in the end. Even if they've been together for a year, you don't know if it'll be there day 366. Not that I think this is a P.

Hoover? Cute name. That was my pet name for my ex gf.

He is a very handsome big common and his name fits him for cleaning up... he is sweet..i have a big guy just like him..

nice pleco, for all they are viewed as common and sometimes ugly i think they have great markings and they grow so fast
Yes, I LOVE his markings they are soooo cool!!!

OMG, my youngest (4yo) came running into me the other day...."Hoover is eating a baby frog" she is yelling! I'm like "WHAT"??? Wondering how on earth a baby frog had gotten into this tank, so I go in there and LMAO, there was no "baby frog" she saw his "whisker" type thing that hangs from their mouth on both ...she thought they were a baby frogs legs :ROFL:

Ok, after saying all that....I was wondering is there anything "special" I should be adding in the tank for him?? I give him blanched zucinni and he seems to REALLY like it...well, actually I through it in for my Pacu, but I noticed he devours it up...so I got to thinking, is there anything ya'll give yours that I should give mine???
