nice tank and fish! Good job. :headbang2
thanks :) this tank, out of all my others, is probably my favorite. i spend a ton of time just standing there in front of it watching all the little critters do their thing

thanks :) i thought so too :headbang2
I thought your bottom would be jdm tank style stocked with what we talked about during fishing. Spider crab and halibut and surviving lizard if too big for the eel :nilly:You need to pack it with the batray, white seabass, garibaldi, and save the thornback from the asian ladies!

Definitely would love to see a sheepcrab!

What else...

Kelpfish

- smaller species like the Island or Spotted Kelpfish
- Giant Kelpfish would be nice too

Rockfish

- Treefish are pretty awesome - the juveniles are nice but they tend to be
more skittish when they get older
- Gopher Rockfish
- Black and Yellow Rockfish
- some others but those are my favs

Sheephead - males have a nice color scheme but the females are all pink.

Garibaldi if u can get it from Mexico ;) but very very aggressive, might need its own tank - but doesnt bother inverts in my experience (like kelp crabs) also doesnt bother sharks its own size or bigger.

Other inverts:
- California King Crab
- Box Crab
- Octopus bimaculoides/Two Spot Octo - but needs it own tank.

I'll think of more eventually lol

haha. you have good taste :)

defiently want a kelpfish. maybe i can get one of those awsome green phase giants :)

treefish are definetly on the list :) great lookin fish. just need t get out there and pull one off a rock.

i think a garabaldi would be okay in here. if i added some kelp (like i intend to) then i think he would just build a territory and leave everyone alone.

as far as octos go, ive kept bimacs in a community setting, just has to be a mild mannered one. my most recent one left everyone alone save a small calico that he latched onto. never inked either. maybe i just got lucky :)

hehe. but yea, this tank isnt even close to stocked yet. defienly adding 2-3 more fish and countless inverts. still a work in progress for sure :)

Love it! How big is the tank?

Makes me wanna go into salt... and keep cold-water-fish.

to be honest the tank isnt big enough......but it works for now.

you guys have some awsome fish over there on the european coasts, conger, ratfish, starry dogfish, skate, etc.

could put together a super cool tank im sure :naughty:

Cool cool. I'll definitely keep my eye on your tank, I'm surprised more people in SoCal havent done the same. Unless there's something I don't know about in regards to keeping SoCal marine life.
