wow hope you socal peeps and your tanks are all fine...especially John in LA...wonder what happen to the House of Sam

:WHOA: Can you imagine 10,000 gallons of water flowing down the street? It would be like a mini tsunami LOL

well guys im looking at johns tank online and I see sam, and doesnt look like there is damage from what the camera sees. However, the tank looks like it lost alot of water. there are people walking around on the cam, but im not sure if they are just working or what they are doing. My tanks are okay thankfully 3 of our tanks are on the floor. My fish were freaking out about 5 min before it happend though

Hope everybody is ok!!!

FYI - I have merged all three earthquake threads....

I'm in San Diego.
I felt it.

I was sitting at the kitchen table and thought one of my cats was bumping up against my chair... i looked down and no cat....

Then i heard the house shaking.:nilly::nilly::nilly: RUN AWAY But luckily, it was pretty tame down here and no water was sloshing around in my tank

That is my biggest fear for my tank. An earthquake that heaves my 125 over and shorts out everything. And soaks all the furniture.

Well, all the scientists say that SoCal is due for another big one any day. Could be tomorrow, could be 30 years from now. But it WILL happen.. in the next 30 years. They say they are 99% positive.

I'm moving north if thats the case. :nilly::nilly:

I just checked John's fish cam...looks like the water level went down a bit, but I think he's doing a water change. There's no way that much water would've spilled out :WHOA:

The place whhere I got the stand for my 60 said it was earthquake made. theres like extra room on the sides for the tank to sway or somethin. he said because I live in socal he recommends it. have no idea if it does anything but good idea i guess. Im still watchin johns tank..everyones still swimming and i see both the bigguns! Still keepin an eye out on the water level and people walking around. Hopefully he doesnt have leaks or something. Ill keep watchin for a bit longer
