Make the drive to 405 Tropical off Goldenwest/Bolsa and the 405 freeway....... small 3"-4" baby silver arowanas all day long for $6.99. Jar's for $24.99, and larger silvers too for a little more. Good people there, mom and pops shop.

Hey, thanks for the info! Can you give me the adress so I can mapquest it? I am getting a new tank soon and want to have a Silver Arrowana in it, and hopefully grow it full size from a baby =)

i bought my current 7in silver there for 6.99 and had it on pellets in 2 days. feeding it bio+gold and looking amazing.

riveside area?

here ya go.. Riverside, Sbdo, Moreno Valley.. ask and you shall recieve.

Riverside, CA

Eliots for Pets on Magnolia, they are looking for a new building.. but they are right by the railroad tracks just north of Central. cool but small fish department, good prices, nice selection of supplies and tanks.

Fish Fantasy on Arlington just east of Van Buren. Looks like two shops.. one with live fish, the other with supplies, equipment and aquariums. Good prices and a great variety of freshwater fish, the equipment part of the shop is kinda high priced, but has stuff that most of the other local shops don't.

Redlands, CA

Pet World on Hariman by Tippecanoe. good selection of fresh and saltwater fish, GREAT prices on equipment and a very good variety and selection of food frozen, freeze dried, live and almost every kind of fish kibble and flake food ever made.

These are the ones we go to the most..

Slightly out of our area are:

Total Tropical Fish in Upland.. On Foothill Ave. west of Euclid. Mostly saltwater and reef tanks, some fresh water fish, good prices but VERY young fish for sale. Lots of WELL KEPT and HEALTHY plants for reasonable prices. Very helpful owner, nice folks.

There is also a nice one in Fontana.. nice folks, clean tanks good prices, excellent selection of large aquariums and freshwater fish, very healthy. And they are interested in the welfare of the fish they sell, i take pics of the fish i bought from them in once in awhile to show them. i don't know the name of the store, but they are on Sierra right across from Kaiser.

Moreno Valley, CA

Exotic Tropical Fish of the World
on Perris Blvd north of Allesandro. Nice folks running the store are the parents of the guy that owns the store and knows about the fish. Any questions you have they have to call him.. VERY nice people though. First store i ever saw peacock bass in, where i fell in love with them.

Treasured Pets on Perris Blvd south of Iris. Young people, new store, looks like it's promising to become a great aquarium store. I've purchased beautiful and healthy angelfish there and they are adding a bunch of new aquariums for the saltwater fish so they can expand their freshwater fish section.

Okay I went to Strictly Fish, HUGE IMPROVEMENT from going to Petco.... now i know where to shop, HUGE selection of fish and I went on Wednesday when it was 25% off all livestock, they had some amazing fish.... sad thing was all i bought was some Tetri Min, for my guppies, Cichlid Gold for my Jack Dempsey, and a 3" Common Pleco cus i couldn't afford the medium sized ones for 15$.... but i really need a larger one so i will save up cus i think my JD ate my pleco... but they had some AMAZING fish especially in their large saltwater tank in the front of the register, and i loved the seahorses in the nanocubes.

Also the planted tank that was ful of huge fish, like clown loaches and guoramis, well not huge but, for me 6"+ is huge =D and they had a small Jardini, about 3" and it was 49.99 i think. Also they had LOTS of EBJD's for 39.99 but they were all only about 1/2"

10/10 compared to petco lol =D i gotta get some driftwood too ^^
