so i stop getting messages and what not...i know a terrapin is a hard shell turtle i also know that the article i posted hear says terrapin in it and i know the turt in that picture is a softshell...so that picture is attached to the article i posted but i took the literal/exact translation from japanese to english ...japanese doesnt translate all that well so when you read it just replace terrapin with softshell in the article so i can stop getting badgered about this...

Why do you HAVE TO HAVE this species? You can get the same personality and color in a much smaller and cheaper package. Its your choice, its up to you whether its a wise one. I dont know your financial and space situations, so I can't judge. Do what you think is best, but if you honestly think you can take a big turtle, go ahead, should be cool

Dang. Don't get all up on his back because he wants that turtle and not a spiny. If that's what he wants, that's what he wants. It's not like he got a ball python and now he wants a cobra or a mamba or something. I'm not saying it'll be easy or cheap to keep the Asian softshell, but man give him a break.

Plus, if you can find a picture of A. spinifera that like that Asian, I'll post a picture of myself, jumping up and down in a pink princess costume.

nobody has told me the exact species of the link turtle..
how do you know it's a big turtle?

why are you making me get a spiny..i like them but why are you forcing me to get one.. what, do you get paid 50% commision for every spiny softshell that gets sold in the US or something..??

I gave you the species a while back: Amyda cartilaginea. I don't think I've ever seen a non-North American softshell anywhere other than the internet, but you might be able to find one with a little work.

....at least I'm about 95% sure that's the species. I looked up pictures of as many softshell species as I could find.

since it doesn't look chubby/flippery/spotty as the one in the link..

is it because of age or gender?

oh..i am sure this turtle is the same as Cola.

I repeat:

"Its your choice, its up to you whether its a wise one. I dont know your financial and space situations, so I can't judge. Do what you think is best, but if you honestly think you can take a big turtle, go ahead, should be cool"
