Solid black blood parrot

hard to tell from the picture but I think it could be two things:
1: It is dyed
2: It is still young and will fade like previously posted.
I think that it is dyed because majority of the natural young parrot color that I see when young is gray or gray with some black due to water conditions not totally dark like the fish pictured. Either way, the color will fade.

i dont think it will fade all the way i think it will just have small orage spots and look like crap lol id hope it stays black like that.
Well I guess I will just have to wait and see. I will post back in this thread in a few months about how its color is. I don't think this fish is dyed, but I think it could be just that its young though.
I did have one more question though. What about the convict like stripes it had. I haven't seen those before either. I noticed it I shine a really bright light on the fish I can see those stripes that it had when I first got it. Are the stripes just something a young fish has as well?
