Hmmmm, hope I don't sound too flamming insensitive but have you ever heard of Strickley Reptiles?, Glade Herps (yes I know they moved further north) and a whole lot of other importers/exportes Florida is crawling with herp people and place, ie: Snake Pit, Snake Den, Tom Crutchfields, Suncoast Imports/Exports............... just to name a few.

I actually went to Glades herp 2 yrs ago. Yes to further North now.

I should have said no places within hour driving distance from me that are worth anything.
As 2 "area" places with tiny selection and both dirty . In NY I had lots mom/pop good reptile places 20 minutes away N-W-E or South.

In my area its a few chain places and lots fish places (nothing exotic, uncommon) but no real reptile places.

I have never heard of snake pit or snake den. We did go to one place by South beach where you pay south beach incredibly high prices with average live stock. Clean and nice but insane prices.

I have not found the type of selection here that I saw in NY as far as reptiles go .

Albino Nile which I think is Crutchfields place I heard is good but bit of a hike and haven't been there.

Beautiful turtles! I agree on your maps being Ouachitas and not Mississippis. I don't have a good photo, but here's a bad drawing:

I never heard of them till you mentioned them. They seem like a nice place ,huge inventory. I looked up pet stores in yellow pages but seem's many don't list themseves.

Thus never found this one.

Just keep in mind they are Wholesalers, I don't think they sell directly to the public. Call them first to save a trip. Between them and Cal Zoo in CA, they supply a good percentage of the pet trade. :naughty:

The list of animals available is like a dream to us over regulated australians.

A friend went last Sat . They are wholesale but if you call prior on Sat only you can go.

He said amazing stock all very healthy. He bought a couple lizards. They only have a 3 hour window of time you can go on Sat thus havent had chanse to go yet.
