I actually went to Glades herp 2 yrs ago. Yes to further North now.
I should have said no places within hour driving distance from me that are worth anything.
As 2 "area" places with tiny selection and both dirty . In NY I had lots mom/pop good reptile places 20 minutes away N-W-E or South.
In my area its a few chain places and lots fish places (nothing exotic, uncommon) but no real reptile places.
I have never heard of snake pit or snake den. We did go to one place by South beach where you pay south beach incredibly high prices with average live stock. Clean and nice but insane prices.
I have not found the type of selection here that I saw in NY as far as reptiles go .
Albino Nile which I think is Crutchfields place I heard is good but bit of a hike and haven't been there.
