it was a higher range test...i change the water about once a month.

is that ph test a normal test or a high range test. and you still haven't said what your wc routine is.

soo its been 72 hours and its a little better. i was wondering how long should i wait? and should i do a water change now or after the water clears?

Do you use only tap? If so, it could be that you just have really bad water, can you afford a RO water system? Or even just water conditioner?
