Waters cheap. I have had to do it to a couple of my sons tanks because there in his room so I fail to take care of them like I do my own tanks. Let every thing sit out and dry the air kills the alge

no i just got done redosing the algea clear. i plan on doing a water change in three days. If this redoes doesnt work. i am still wondering on the uv filter wattage?

Looks like your ammonia is fairly high? Maybe that is what killed your fish. How long has this tank been up and running?
