Cool, I didn't know that you imported some Guinea Endli's to the PI. As small as the Bichir community is over here I should have heard about that. I like your collection as well.
One of my uncles has a rest house that's a few hectares over here with some big ponds. Once I pick out the specimens that I'm keeping, I'm going to dump them in the different ponds at the farm and hope that nature takes it's course. The rest I'll give some of the serious Bichir hobbyists here a chance to own.
That was the reason why I walk away from PALHS as they thought it was a BS when I imported them before. I tried to help the bichir community over there but they just started hating me because I ship them to Iloilo. I was gonna start a breeding farm there as well in Antique as my Grandpa from my Mom's side own some rice paddies and that was the ideal plan, just turn them into large ponds. I aslo got rid of that apure catfish as it just out competing my bichirs for food.
Well goodluck with the breeding program and be the first Filipino to spread rare bichirs around the Philippines. Especially breeding the PBB, sp. koliba and teugelsi. As far as I know no one yet breed tuegelsi (Maybe Japan?) Who knows maybe, 5-10 years from now, you'll get some platinums out of your breeding stocks.
BTW what regional variant are the PBB?
