Someone please ID this fish

It's no megalodoras and I don't recall Oxydoras having branched barbels the way this fish has.That is a trait of the Synodontis cats if I remember correctly.

I think father time is robbing me of my memory because I sed to know this catfish like I know my name and now I am drawing a blank.

Looks like oxydoras niger
 
It really does but those barbels throw me off.
 
does oxydoras make audible noises? coz this one does
Some of them do but so do a lot of catfish species....when they are removed from water.

Looks like a Hassar species to me, probably orestis or wilderi http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/genus.php?genus_id=25#39 -- stare at the photos and see which one looks the closest.

These guys have a funny common name - Black top mouse catfish
I think it is some kind of Hassar and upon checking the photos of juveniles for comparison I've noticed those same branched barbels as the fish in this thread
