  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You didn't even think it looked cool for a mintute??

The ex-tank blew in the hatchery. It can't cause any water damage in there. Plus, the side that blew out was facing the door which, thankfully, I didn't shut til it latched. The water blew the door open and most of the water wound up in the yard. Most of the rest just made my floor drains gurgle happily for a while.

This hobby isn't relaxing, it's like drug use. You spend all of your money, you are gratified for 5 seconds, then you want more. You think that it will be better with just a little more, but it's not. Then things start to go wrong. You spend more and more money to correct problems associated with having the hobby. It takes all your time and energy, your money, and your sanity. I love this shi*!

yeah not relaxing at all..Sucks at least you're smart enough to have floor drains for all thsoe tanks.

Relaxing?:screwy:
If your hobby consists of a betta in a 10g tank its very relaxing.
For the rest of us...not so much

At least you faced the exploding tank out an open door, thats a move only an experienced aquarist could manage.

I am livid about nitrate conditions in my tank, and Oddball deals with his exploding tank pretty well. I haven't reached THE NEXT LEVEL, but I will get there.

Wow you just summarized how a typical addicted fishkeeper feels. You should be like president of mfk or something. :D
