Used to get a ton when I was kid, as the neighborhood has grown up, the amount of kids is only a fraction of what it used to be.

Not much; about half of what I bought. Usually we get huge groups of kids that drive into the neighborhood but there weren't very many out. The weather was nice and everything but it is a school night... Now I need to figure out what to do with all this extra candy.

I do pre-made bags of candy every year ... always hoping for 100, I've only achieved that once ... before tonight. Just hit 100, the lucky kid just scored the $10 prize for being #100.

As for amount of candy ... the kids love my candy bags. This year has Reese's PB Cup, a Caramilk, a Mike & Ike, 2 Jolly Rancher chews, 2 Rockets, a Jolly Rancher Lollipop and a Welch's Fruit Snack .... So times it by 100, that's the amount of candy I've giving out so far.

I just bought a house earlier this year so it was my first time doing Halloween. I did not know how popular our neighborhood was, wow was there a TON of kids. There are 5 neighborhoods that make up the township/subdivision whatever so its easy for kids to walk from neighborhood to neighborhood. There were a lot of people who live in the area that drove to our neighborhood set to trick or treat. I ran out of candy in the fist hour and 30min. I probably only got to half the kids that came by. I walked around afterwards and came home with more candy then what I bought and passed out lol.

Had maybe 30 kids so far. We are giving out chocolate and peanut m&ms, baby ruth, butterfingers, starburst, oh henry, milky way, Reese's.

One year I took my son out and a few punks were running around snatching kids bags.That really pissed me off.

That happened to me one year when I was a kid ... 5th grade I think. Jr high kids were grabbing the bags. I took off after them, ran through the whole apartment complex, bowed up to them and got a black eye ... but I got my candy back.
