We ended up not giving out any!..the mother in law had a flue shot...and had a bad reaction, we spent the night in the ER, she is fine.

thats a true, it happens, next year u all must dress in a sexy female costume, only the single guys tho, cant let ur wife/gf jelly over all those girls all over u
I would not oppose/comment anyone up to 17 but I think I stopped at 12(right after we moved to Texas).
I came to the states at 11, went trick or treating the first year; and that was the last as well.

I still remember my last halloween going out ... I was 15. Went as a smoker (until I got to the Ministers house, then I became an ex-smoker) got some candy, plus matches and a few lighters.
Anyhow it was a town of 900 people and it used to be pretty cool on halloween. See we wanted some candy for the festivities later ... Festivities being an egg war between kids vs. Town workers, Volunteer Fire Dept. and the local RCMP's. The only catch was if you got caught with or throwing eggs, they egged you and put you on clean up duty the following day (No fines) but they had to catch you, which they were good at. This had been going on for years.
Unfortunately a couple years after I left home, someone decided to spray paint a bunch of vehicles and buildings on halloween .... So the "festivities" no longer happen. But those were sure some fun times (god I feel old saying this) back in the day.
