Sooo...how much candy did you give out today?

Im a teen but last year I spent like two weeks making a zombie Mitt Romney costume. And causes of it I got 19 pounds of candy.

I remember when i was a kid a few families used to reply "trick" when we said trick or treat... And as the youngins we were we'd either come up with some cheesy song or other silly little magic tricks that didnt make any sense...

I've worked with youth ever since I was a youth in a volunteer role .... first it was with 14 -18 yr olds for 6 1/2 yrs ... then it was 5 -7 yr olds for the past 4 yrs ... now I'm working with 5 -7 and 8 - 11 yrs olds in 2 different roles. And no matter the age ... they need something to do. Every year there's more and more community halloween parties for the older kids. After said parties end ... shouldn't they be allowed to get some candy? Keeps them from Tricking.
When I was 15 - 18 yrs old and "TOO OLD TO TRICK OR TREAT" .... i turned to tricking. Became one of my biggest fears when I bought a home. In over 10yrs there's been no TRICKING on our streets in our neighborhood ... nor any little kids having candy stolen.
So I might end up with a few kids in street clothes around 9pm ... if they have a good story, which everyone usually has .... the end result is good clean fun for everyone.

Just wish some of those cool sweet kids would show up Nov. 1 every year and help me pack everything away ... It's fun setting up but sucks tearing down as I have to wait another year for it to happen again.

My boy is twelve now and almost as tall as I am,he didn't want to get dressed up or go out treating this year....guess he's outgrown it.
 
i would dress up as a fairy/pixie, female vampire, etc and girls/women always thought it was hilarious when i trick-or-treat. One time this girl loved it so much, she dumped a whole bowl into my bag. that was a good night. and yessir im a guy.
 
^ i had a big burly asian friend do that in HK's club district... He definitely got a lot of chicks that night for his ballsy move...

LMAO!....I heard that our mayor has imposed a trick or treat curfew of 7pm...I'm not sure if the police were out enforcing it or not.
