Wow excellent answers haha. Did you use your sections for the 31.75" as the height or length? Cause I'd need 4 wide if I stood them up. That's recommended right?

And I really, really like the number 2 piece. =]

I used the 31.75" for the height and the 20" for the length - but this is because the 150g is a bit tall. I had to cut it down from 31.75" to 26.25" on every piece. Some pieces were harder to cut then others but that might have been different if I didn't use a slightly old exacto knife and changed the blades on it.

And the 2nd piece is steller, going to use it on my 40g breeder/planted setup this summer. Looks really nice.

Ok sweet. One more thing... every section is the same right? So can you rotate them to do away with the patterned look it will form having 4 of the same pieces?

Yeah they're more or less the same, some minor differences like how the edge was cut - by this I mean the wavy edge, not the straight edge.

Does yours look like its patterned? Like can you tell there are 4 of the same pieces?

Honestly - no

But when I had them all out and was cutting them I did notice the pattern. I can't complain though as it is a cheap 3D background. Can't wait til I get a new light and toss my canopy back on top - will look
so sweet!

By cheap I mean that it's cheap in price - not in looks or quality :) I wanted to clarify that.

I looked around prior and there was slim pickings if you wanted to stay under $200 for 3D backgrounds.

I honestly like the ridges on the one by DBN over the one by AT - but that's personal preference. Price wise they're in the same range with DBN beating it slightly but nothing too significant.

Well, I know there are people on here who do paint the sides as well as the back. I have always liked to leave the sides untouched myself.

Again, personal preference on this one as well.

Well, I'm off to bed, good luck with your decision :)
