You should really try to see them in person. I know that I'll never get a DNG background. They look cartoonish to me. The design/structure is nice, but the paint job is terrible. I love Aquaterra backgrounds. They looks so real in person.
 
Valuable info yet again Jose. Thanks a lot. I'll have to see if Aquaterras can be connected or if the mesa wall is my only option.

See, I feel the opposite way. I think all the aquaterra backgrounds look like the paint is very cheap and the texture always looks fake. Tree trunks aren't perfectly smooth! We carried them at my old job and I have worked with them in person.
Also, DBNs customer service is second to none--Matt will literally email you back and forth 30 times answering any question you have about anything (trust me, I know).
The DBN backgrounds might look a little "cartoonish" when they are outside of the tank, but under water with a bit of algae growth on them and under proper lighting, they are gorgeous.
